This has been an exciting and busy week! Seven green turtles nesting, TWO in one night! There has been a lot of turtle activity this week! We are so lucky to both see so much turtle activity for such a small island and have the opportunity to experience such amazing events as turtle laying eggs and baby turtles hatching.

We also conducted two conservation awareness sessions this week, one about ‘Introduction to turtles and turtle conservation’ and the other ‘Malaysian marine ecosystems’. I hope everyone learnt something during these sessions and enjoyed the presentations!
Our weekly beach clean-up was very successful with both staff and guest involvement! We cannot thank people enough for helping us control and eliminate the rubbish from the beach! It was a lovely afternoon, meeting new people and enjoying the FREE drinks after our efforts.
