A nesting turtle was spotted just beside our guest room area on 21 Feb 2016 at mid night. When we found this female turtle she just started dig a hole by her back flippers to make her nest to lay eggs. We took a distance from the turtle not to stress her and waited for a while until she started laying eggs.
The guest from China Ms Maymay & Ms Yinying were lucky to witness the nesting scene and they success to take a video !
It is a big turtle as she laid 154 eggs which is the standard for 80-100 eggs per nesting for green turtles.
Ms Maymay & Ms Yinying are very kind to offer us to sponsor this turtle nest, the nest will be hatched during 6 – 21 April 2016.
