Pom Pom Local Dance Performance

One of the entertainments during dinner was the Local Dance. It was performed by our Housekeeping Department. The local dance performance starts from 8pm until 9pm and leaded by Ana as the Chinese and English speaker.

The Local Dance started with the KadazanDusun traditional dance which is known as “Sumazau” followed by “Poco- Poco” and “Jamilah” dance from Indonesia. Before proceed to the second performance, there was a DSD certification distribution to our guests from French. Congratulations to them!

The object of this performance is to let our guests to know more about music and dancing culture in Sabah. Sabah has many different types of tribes including the Kadazan as the largest tribe in Sabah, Bajau Tribe, Sungai Tribe and many more. Different tribes have it own music and dance.

晚餐期间,我们的娱乐节目之一：本地传统舞蹈。本地传统舞蹈是由邦邦岛客房部的员工演出。传统舞蹈表演时间是从晚上8点至晚上9点，由安娜作为中文和英语主持人。

表演是先由“Sumazau” 舞开始。这传统舞蹈是沙巴卡达山族最著名的传统舞蹈。接下来的表演是来自印尼的传统舞蹈，名为“Poco- Poco” 和“Jamilah” 。在下一个表演之前，我们很高兴的把体验潜水证书颁发给来自法国的客人。恭喜他们！

这表演的目的是让我们的客人了解更多有关沙巴本土音乐和舞蹈文化。沙巴州内有许多不同种族的原住民包括卡达山族，巴妖族，杜顺族等；卡达山族是沙巴州最大的种族，每个种族都有自己的音乐和舞蹈。
