We were very excited to have the first underwater clean-up of the year, we cleaned the house reef to the right side of the jetty. A group of 10 formed by the marine biologists, dive centre staff and guests suited up and went for a free dive. In pairs we wondered around looking for any debris or crown of thorns (COT) in the area and collected them. Overall, it was a very successful afternoon and 18 COT’s were collected and measured, the biggest was 29cm wide.
