NOODLE’s babies are born !

In June, we have collected many turtle nests also many baby turtles released to the sea.

It was one of the impressive hatching on 17 June, 89 turtle babies were born from the nest which was collected on 27.Apr . The nest and the mother turtle of this babies are sponsored by Mr.Paul & Ms.Gail, a repeater couple from UK ! The mother turtle is named as ” NOODLE ” by Mr.Paul & Ms.Gail.

When I arrived at the hatchery, Some babies were about to come out, but they were still sleeping just putting out their heads outside the sands ( the bodies still stay under the sand…).

After a few minutes, one turtle started to move slowly…then other babies also started to wake up…. after that, many babies come out from the sands, it was like a volcano because many babies continuously came out from the nest ! We collected all the babies carefully, 89 babies were born from 104 eggs.

At 5.30pm, guests & staffs went down to the beach to release baby turtles. The divemaster Rayner announced and introduced the nest owners info, then many house guest witnessed the babies going back to the sea safely.
