Our new hatchery has been christened with its first new arrivals, 2 nights ago, we found a Hawksbill Turtle laying eggs and carefully transferred them to their new home. Hawksbill Turtles are endangered so it is very important to protect them from predators or poachers. Our Italian Guests who accompanied Ray and Raimond, our Turtle Patrol, were very happy to witness this rare and exciting sight as they had never seen turtles before.

２日前のことなんだけど、ダイブセンター付近に海亀の卵の孵化センターを開設。ちょどその晩、海亀（ホークスビル）が産卵に訪れたので卵を回収、新しい孵化センターに移送完了。このホークスビル（タイマイ）という種類の海亀は密漁や海亀を捕食する外敵によって生存数が激減している絶滅危惧種なのでとっても貴重なのよ。スタッフのレイ＆レイモンドのパトロール隊に参加したイタリアのゲストは初めて見るこの貴重な海亀の産卵シーンにとても感動していたわ！
