Carla has just returned from her whirlwind tour of Europe promoting Sipadan Pom Pom Island Resort. She is still feeling very tired and jet lagged but had a very productive and exciting time. She started with the first show, the EUDI Show in Bologna, Italy which is a dive show, from there she went to Milan to take part in the BIT Show which is more general tourism, and from there she went to Berlin for the ITB Show which is a huge show in Germany for tourism. She said it was an amazing experience, and got to meet some lovely people from many different countries. It was very good to promote Pom Pom and we hope that we have introduced our island to many new potential guests. Carla told us that having travelled by bus, taxi, train, underground, aeroplane and foot, the best mode of transport was the Pom Pom Island boat back to the island. Having been snowed and rained on in Europe, it was very nice to come back to the sunshine and blue seas of the island. The first thing Carla did before unpacking was to have a relaxing swim off the jetty.

カーラがヨーロッパのプロモーションツアーからポンポンへ帰ってきたわ。短い期間にタイトなスケジュールをこなしてきたため、まだ疲れが残ってはいるけども、とっても良いプロモーション活動ができたみたいね。最初のプロモーションはイタリア・ボローニャでのDiving Show・EUDI。それからイタリアの旅行業界が主催するBIT showのためミラノへ。そのあとはドイツ・ベルリンで開催されたITB Show。これはドイツで開催される大きな観光フェアなのよ。今回のヨーロッパツアーではいろんな国から来た人達との出会いがあり、たくさんの人たちにポンポン島を紹介でき、とても良いプロモーションになったとカーラが言っていたわ。今回のプロモーションツアーではバスやタクシー、電車や地下鉄、飛行機にのったり自分の足で歩いて廻ったり。。。彼女が一番ワクワクした移動はポンポン島に帰ってくるとき。 ヨーロッパでは雪・雨だったけどもポンポン島に戻れば日の光が降り注ぐ青い海。カーラが島に帰って荷解きする前に最初にしたこと。。。それは桟橋からのリラックス・スイミング！
