Aldo from Italy had a nice birthday surprise at Pom Pom Island, first of all, his daughter had brought him a special birthday cake and his wife, Maria, had sponsored the latest turtle nest on his behalf. Aldo and Maria had been with our Turtle Patrol the night before, and had witnessed a green turtle laying eggs, then watched our patrol carefully move the eggs to the hatchery. Maria had the idea afterwards to sponsor this nest as a birthday surprise. We gave our Appreciation Certification and look forward to sending the photos of the babies when born. イタリアからのアルドさん、ステキなバースデーをポンポン島で迎えました。イタリアの娘さんからのシークレットケーキでしょ、それに奥様のマリアさんからは海亀の巣のスポンサー証明書のプレゼント。ちょうど前日に海亀パトロール隊に参加し、産卵シーンやスタッフが注意深く海亀を取り扱う様子を見学。これに感心した奥様が海亀の巣に寄付をくださり、そのスポンサー証明書を旦那様にプレゼントしたのよ。この巣から赤ちゃん海亀が誕生したら写真を送ってあげなきゃね。アルドさん、マリアさん、どうもありがとうございました！
