NEW BABIES AT POM POM

~Sally’s Diary~

Mike and Marilyn from the UK are the proud sponsors of the lastest baby turtles at Pom Pom.  We have just released a batch of babies, all very healthy 2 nights ago.  They hatched at 11pm and we carefully let them run on the beach to the sea.  Many guests were there to witness this special occasion, its a wonderful feeling to watch the new born turtles enter the sea in the moon light.  We would like to say a special thank you to Mike and Marilyn for their support of our hatchery and the protection and preservation of the turtles of Pom Pom.

２日前の夜１１時ごろにレストラン前の孵化センターで赤ちゃん海亀が誕生！生まれた赤ちゃん海亀はスタッフのトーマス＆ちえみ、そしてゲストの数人で注意してバケツに回収、ビーチに移動後、波うち際でそっと放流。。月明かりの中、海へかえって行く海亀を見るのはとても感動的だったわね。この海亀の巣に寄付をくださったのはイギリスのマイクさん＆マリリンさん。私達の海亀保護活動をご支援くださいまして本当にありがとうございます。
